To empower the warrior within through education, self-defense, service, and community, helping individuals build confidence, resilience, and purpose.
1. Educational Presentations & Workshops
Awareness is the first step to prevention. Our presentations provide practical safety education, situational awareness training, and personal empowerment strategies for schools, businesses, community groups, healthcare organizations, and civic organizations.
2. Self-Defense Training
Our hands-on self-defense classes teach participants how to recognize threats, establish boundaries, manage distance, and respond effectively in potentially dangerous situations. Training is designed to build confidence, increase preparedness, and empower individuals of all ages and abilities.
3. Community Partnerships & Outreach
We believe safety is strengthened through connection. By partnering with local organizations, nonprofits, schools, healthcare providers, and community leaders, we create opportunities for education, advocacy, and empowerment that make a lasting impact throughout our communities.
Below, you can learn more about the relationships we are building and the lives we are impacting. We invite you to support our mission through a donation, sponsorship, volunteer opportunity, or community partnership. Together, we can empower the warrior within and create safer, stronger communities.

W.S.T.I. is honored to partner with NEWS Domestic Violence & Sexual Abuse Services in support of Domestic Violence Awareness Month (DVAM). Through collaborative workshops and community education, we help raise awareness, promote personal safety, and provide individuals with tools to recognize, prevent, and respond to violence. Together, we are committed to empowering survivors, fostering resilience, and creating safer communities for all.

W.S.T.I. is committed to empowering middle school, high school, and college-aged girls through age-appropriate safety education, situational awareness, and personal empowerment workshops. Our outreach programs focus on building confidence, setting healthy boundaries, recognizing potentially dangerous situations, and developing practical self-defense skills. By equipping young women with knowledge and confidence, we help prepare them to navigate school, social settings, and everyday life with greater awareness and self-assurance.

Through partnerships with local businesses like Azur Winery, W.S.T.I. continues to bring safety education and empowerment directly into the community—helping individuals build awareness, resilience, and the confidence to protect themselves and others.

W.S.T.I. is proud to partner with the Pretty Woman Center, whose support helps us empower women and strengthen our community through education, awareness, and self-defense training. By providing a welcoming space for our Warrior Workshops and seminars, the Pretty Woman Center plays an important role in advancing our mission to empower the warrior within.

W.S.T.I. believes strong communities are built through connection, teamwork, and shared experiences. In addition to our self-defense programs, we offer opportunities for community engagement through team-building activities such as volleyball, softball, and flag football, helping groups strengthen communication, trust, and camaraderie.

W.S.T.I. is grateful for the support and partnership of Mel Orpilla (Island Warriors) Benicia Boxing & Martial Arts. Their commitment to martial arts, discipline, and community empowerment aligns with our mission of building confidence, awareness, and resilience through training.

W.S.T.I. honors the legacy of the historic Kajukenbo dojo at 974 Benicia Road, founded on the teachings of the late Senior Grand Master Emil Bautista. We are grateful for the continued support and mentorship of Kajukenbo Escrima co-founder David Ducay, Master Renel Amante, and Guru Jason De La Vega in preserving the values of martial arts, self-defense, discipline, and community empowerment.
